Velunov won a marathon in Norwegian Holmenkollen
Russian skier Alexander Velunov won the marathon in Norwegian Holmenkollen and won the small Crystal Globe in remote races of the World Cup 19/20. The Russian skier reached the distance in 2 hours 8 minutes 5.3 seconds. The second place was taken by Norwegian Simen Kruger (0.9 seconds), the third Norwegian Emil Iversen (19.5). Thus, the victory in the marathon guaranteed Velunova a victory in the World Cup competition in remote races. According to the news agency, earlier Velunov couldn t reach the final of the sprint race at the third stage of the stage race Ski Tour.
