Microsoft Build Conference held with maximum number of participants


More than two hundred thousand specialists took part in the online conference Build of Microsoft, CNN reports. Microsoft hosts the Build conference for programmers annually. In 2020, the conference was scheduled to take place in Seattle 19 on May 21, but due to the epidemiological situation, the company had to abandon the public event. However, this did not prevent Microsoft from holding a two-day conference online. More than 230,000 specialists registered for the Internet conference, while last year about 6,000 people personally attended the event. As in previous years, the conference consisted of several thematic sessions, reports and presentations. The event featured several updates to Microsoft's developer-focused products. In particular, Microsoft introduced a new application for group editing of program code. As previously reported by the news agency, in May Microsoft presented plans to create the first data center in Italy. The total investment in this project will amount to about $1.5 billion.
