Mongolia held a rally in online format

The Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry declared May 1 as Workplace Day and organized the Protest Action of Working Instruments in the Square near the Palace of Sports. Our country is successfully combating the spread of coronavirus of a new type. But no decent measures were taken to save the economy. If no measures supporting the economy are taken, we estimate that unemployment will reach 20%. In the context of the pandemic, 46,000 workers of revenge have already been lost. Here today, in this square protest the working tools that are waiting for their owners. We call on the authorities to support the private sector and preserve jobs, said the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Perepondavaagiin Amartuvshin. Also on the day of workers the Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized a protest action Unite for employment of citizens in an online format. It was attended by 500 organizations, whose employees held a picket at the workplace from 9:30 to 10:15.
