NASA: Japanese space truck put into design orbit
The Japanese cargo spacecraft was successfully put HTV-9 a given orbit and took a course to dock with the International Space Station (ISS), the U.S. Aerospace Agency (NASA) reported on May 20. Recall, an automatic space truck with food and materials for scientific projects was launched at 20:31 Moscow time from the launch site on Tanegashima Island in south-west Japan. According to the news agency, the cargo spacecraft of the HTV-9 should approach the ISS on May 25, where it will be caught by the automatic arm-manipulator Canadarm-2 for subsequent docking with the American module Harmony.
