Daily Express: Britain sent Russia a military warning

Britain took part in the military exercises of the NATO bloc in the Arctic region and for this sent its nuclear submarine HMS Trenchant there to give Russia a warning signal. About this writes the publication Daily Express. The publication writes about the military exercises of the North Atlantic Alliance under the code name Dynamic Mongoose. The United Kingdom sent two ASW frigates, an anti-submarine submarine, as well as a new P-8 Poseidon patrol aircraft, to participate in the exercises. Thus, London is trying to increase its authority in the Arctic. The publication also notes that by sending such large forces for Great Britain to the Arctic, London makes it clear to Moscow that Russia's actions in the region are closely monitored. However, readers of the newspaper and experts did not appreciate such an impressive gesture of Great Britain. Many point out that HMS Trenchant is an underwater scrap long-obsolete submarine that they wanted to sawn back in 2019, but left for lack of alternatives. It is also noted that militarily Russia dominates the Arctic, and the British Navy is unlikely to oppose anything to the Russian fleet.
