In Iran, COVID-19 killed 197 people in the last 24 hours

On July 31, a spokeswoman for the Iranian Ministry of Health, Sima Sadat Lari, said that over the past 24 hours, about 197 people have died across the country from coronavirus infection (COVID-19). Over the past 24 hours, about 2674 new cases of infection have been found, COVID-19 while 1523 people were hospitalized, she said. According to Lari, a total of 304,204 Iranians were exposed to the deadly virus, some 263,519 of whom were cured or discharged from hospitals. About 4,022 patients with COVID-19 are in critical condition and are being treated in intensive care units, the spokeswoman said.
