Ministry of Health of Ukraine on tightening quarantine in the regions: no policy

The Minister of Health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov explained that the tightening of quarantine in a particular Ukrainian region depends on the development of the epidemiological situation in a particular region and is not dictated by either policy or any preferences. On August 2, he announced this during an online briefing. Starting from August 1, a new decree has been in force in our country, new rules regarding the establishment of quarantine in a particular territory. In a given territory, new rules for adaptive quarantine have been introduced, when, depending on the situation in a particular city or area, a certain level of danger is established. It's all done for health, it's all done for life. This is all done so that we are able to provide medical assistance to our Ukrainians with coronavirus disease. Behind every action the Ministry of Health does about recommending the establishment of certain restrictions on a particular territory are purely figures. Nothing else is worth it. There is no policy, there are no preferences: someone likes that region or does not like that region, the head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Health noted.
