One feature of cancers is changing the behavior of macrophage immune cells, which in common diseases absorb pathogenic bacteria and viruses, and cancers cause macrophages not to destroy cancer cells and, moreover, stimulate the growth of blood vessels that supply the tumor and ensure the growth of cancer cells.
