This is reported on March 11 by the press service of the company. It is stated that Uber specialists work 24 hours a day with the authorities to prevent the spread of the virus. As part of our work with them, we can temporarily block the accounts of drivers and customers who have come into contact with the infected or COVID-19 sick themselves, the company said. It is stressed that the decision to block accounts will be made by Uber employees only after consultation with the doctor-epidemiologist. According to the news agency, on March 11, an emergency regime was declared in the US capital due to the danger of spreading a new coronavirus.
