On June 22, a Chinese military aircraft entered the South Korean Air Defense Identification Zone (KADIZ). It is reported by KBS, citing military sources. According to them, the plane entered the air defense zone south of Jeju Island after which it was spotted south of the Tokto Islands in the Sea of Japan and the Japanese air defense zone. Fighters of the Air Force of both countries immediately flew to escort him. Information regarding the time during which the Chinese aircraft was in the South Korean air defense zone was not provided. It is noted that before approaching KADIZ, the military contacted the Chinese side in a direct line. As a result of negotiations, it became known that the plane performs a regular flight.
