Erdogan informed about the consequences of the earthquake in Iran


Turkish President Reg Taip Erdoğan was provided with information about the consequences of the earthquake that struck Iran and felt in the Turkish province of Wang, head of the Turkish Ministry of Internal Affairs, Suleiman Soyla. This was reported in the Department of Relations of the Administration of the President of Turkey. The message says that the Minister informed the Head of State about the situation in the earthquake area and search and rescue efforts during the telephone conversation. According to the news agency, on February 23, a 5.7 magnitude earthquake occurred on the border between Iran and Turkey. The epicentre of underground shocks was located 40 km north-west of the city of Ozalp. According to the latest data, nine people were killed in the earthquake and 75 others were injured.
