Kyrgyz authorities reported a 300% reduction in crime


Over the past month, thanks to the introduction of the state of emergency and curfews, the crime rate in Bishkek has fallen by about 300 per cent. This was announced at a briefing today, April 28, by the commandant of the city of Bishkek Almadbek Orozaliyev, the 24.kg reports. According to him, at the same time, frauds have intensified, who under the pretext of representatives of various organizations allegedly provide humanitarian assistance to poor citizens. The commandant also noted that the number of thefts of personal property, in particular bicycles and strollers, which citizens leave unattended in the entrances of their houses due to restrictions on entering the street, has increased significantly in the capital.
